newbie to the game
i have taken creatine one time - 3 years ago for like 4 weeks.. when i wasnt even serious about weightlifting....it gave me good strength gains as i remember... but as soon i got off it i lost everything -- the weight and the strength
so from then on i said no more creatine as it left the the thought in my mind that i wasnt even lifting the weight - it was the creatine or drug i was putting into my body - which i didnt like... so since then i have started lifting seriosuly for about 1.5 - 2 years now and have learned alot and gained alot of strength and size.... but now i still have the feeling i dont want to take any supplelments (i do take a protein shake once a day - if you want to count that) but i want to keep making gains ... so i was wondering if i could get some unbias thoughts and recommendations about what i should do... right now im on week 4 of gorpros workout and my max bench is 205 i rack dead 225 about 6 times (i could do a few more i think) and squat reps of 225..... thanks
somehow trying to get the abs but bulk at the same time.......

Creatine works great as you say.
It is expected though that if you stop taking it you will lose all the benefits. The key with creatine is "Don't stop taking it". ![]() Continue with creatine, keep up on your protein (at least your body weight in grams each day), proper diet (check diet section), take proper vitamins, l-glutamine, setup a good routine that works for you, work hard, and the rest is up to you. - O F F I C I A L . Well it's kind of like brushing your teeth.
You have to do that every day to benefit from it. ![]() And you can't think that the creatine is doing all the work. Without hard work, creatine alone will not show much benefits. It's just like the guys doing steroids. You will not grow like a monster with just steroids alone, it still requires lots of hard work. In any case, creatine is a supplement that has been proven to show substantial benefits. It is your choice whether to use it or not. If you do decide to use it just cycle it. I take it for 3 weeks on and 1 week off. 5 grams 30 minutes before workout and 5 grams after.. - O F F I C I A L . L I N K .
