Department stores now selling BB supplements
As if there was not eough educated people selling the world BB supplements now department stores will get in on the act. Lab Series a high class mens product will start selling a common topical gel. The ad can be seen on the inside cover of this months mens health. I wonder how many men will buy this product thinking they can get abs like the guy on the ad without working out or dieting.

Costco sells bars and protein powder too, as well as other "supplements." I dont see anything wrong with it, now if I saw the stuff in a clothing store I would raise an eyebrow.

supplements are a commodity and as such any company that wish to make money may wish to carry them. if the price is right, and they have enough walk through traffic, then they will sell them. I have never ever seen or heard of a bodybuilder NOT purchase a product when it is cheap and convenient to buy it. i see nothing wrong whatsoever with this and have to wonder if it really bothers you. and if it does bothers you, as you brought it up in the first place, why it does. no offense meant but what do you care?

Marcus It dosent bother me at all. I actually think that it is kind of funny more than bothersome. Its just like kentucky fried chicken advertising how healthy it is to eat there fried chicken GMAFB. People will listen to this garbage and then wonder why they havent lost any weight but gained weight by eating fried chicken everyday because they thought it was healthy.
I have a proposition for you. The next time you are at the mall go to Robinson May and ask the nice lady behind the counter how dose this product (lab series) work. Im sure that you are more inteligent enough to figure out how much bullshit this person is going to tell you. Dont just ask one question either ask several and see what type of response you get. I gurantee you that 5 times out of 10 your going to get ummmm we just starting carrying that and Im not to sure. By the way marcus I never said that the product was cheap. If you read my thread I made a comment on how these products were high class.

hi once,
my comment about cheap was not with respect to anything you said. so i wasn't referencing you at all. it is merely a fact that people will buy anything anywhere as long as the price is right and it is convenient to buy. Or the item has a high perceived value. I don't look for information from the staff. it all depends on your definition of "work" in " how does this stuff work anyway?" people who eat KFC thinking that it is going to help them lose weight deserve what they get. it is called delusional thinking. if people buy something only because a staff person tells them " here take this, it works great and will make you big" then they deserve what they get. we actually are in agreement at a certain level. I just don't care one way or the other about the staff knowledge. or lack thereof. |
