Creatine

What do you think of Scitec's Creatine? Has anyone tried it before?

Here's a link:

Looks like your ordinary Creatine Monohydrate to me.
As long as you don't get some garbage through the China Black market it should be just fine. There are many manufacturers of the stuff. As long as you stick with a popular one, you should have no worries.

www.bodybuilding.com -- 19.99 = 1000 grams of creatine monohydrate. Just go with that, if your going with the pure creatine monohydrate -- You don't need no fancy shit.

I'm actually thinking about taking creatine again.. Just pure creatine monohydrate.... With Grape Juice or something. Shit like Cell-Tech is way to expensive. Although I've seen great results from Cell-Tech before -- I would never buy that shit again.

would taking my dose of creatine with apple juice help speed up the delivery or would it help me to respond better or would it not matter at all either way?

I never heard of apple juice speeding up the delivery of creatine.
I don't think it matters what you drink it with.

i thought so. I dont think im responding to creatine. I dont feel "more" energy as a result of taking it 30 min before a workout. Anything else out there worth trying for pre-workout?

Wannabe,

It does work my friend. You just have to keep taking it.
Take a heaping 5 gram scoop 30 minutes before workout. Then take another heaper after the workout.. do this for 3 weeks on and 1 week off cycle. You should definately notice a difference.

You did complete the loading phase right...
approx 4 teaspoons a day for 5 days to begin with?

I am using a German produced product,
and I noticed increased strength very quickly.

It won't provide you with motivation to workout,
just seems to make less work of more weight.

yo thats interesting, is it anything like this.....

"ALL-iN1 is a name synonymous with quality, performance and reputation which is why we work with the best manufacturers of Creatine in the world - Degussa BioActives in Germany.

The CREAPURE logo is your guarantee of quality. CREAPURE products are HPLC tested for purity, but perhaps more importantly are guaranteed* free from impurities and by-products, creatinine (CRN), dicyandiamide (DCD) and dihydrotriazine (DHT). *according to present analytical methods.

In fact, on the market today the only creatine product that has tested consistently the best is CREAPURE Creatine Monohydrate from Degussa BioActives in Germany. "

.....and this is probably the cheapest creatine i've seen on the net, i wish i had a recommendation on these guys coz if so i'd buy literally everything from them, glutamine/whey etc.

peace

Yep that is the stuff I'm taking.
I'm only on the third day of the loading phase,
and it's the first time I've used creatine.

I'm in Australia, and the stuff I got is marketed under the
name 'Redbak', but it is German made, and does carry the
Creapture logo (the fine grade stuff).

I wouldn't say it's cheap.. not over here anyway.
$47.95 for a 500 gram tub... that's the price of about
nine big meals at McDonald's for value comparison.

A Google search for 'Creatine' will yeild a few good sites.
I do remember reading that Creatine does not affect everybody
the same way, but will benefit most people.
Cheers, Art.

Art,

If your paying 47.95 for a 500 gram tub of Creatine monohydrate, IMO your getting ripped off. Also it is my understanding that you don't need to go through the Creatine loading phase.

I pay 13.99 for a 400 gram tub of Creatine monohydrate (with the pretty creapure logo) . The manufacturer is ISS and their website is www.issresearch.com. I have also been tested against creatine contaminents of which have I have been found free of. Not sure if they sell direct, but worth checking out. Hell 48.00 for 500 grams is way to much money for Creatine my friend.

I found directly through the website, they charge a bit more than through my local distributor. But it is 18.50 for 400 grams
and like 36.00 for 1000 grams... Still much cheaper than your paying... here is the direct link...

Ah, I said I am in Australia, so include postage and
double the price for currency conversion and it's about
the same price I'm paying isn't it?

No Art, Just drag your ass away from those kangaroos and come down to California personally just to pick up a case of Creatine.
If you can work it into a business trip somehow maybe you can just write off all the travel expenses .
