Well here's my verdict on Syntrax's Isomatrix-Chocolate Hurricane.
I like it...................Could be more chocolately.
Chances are if you didn't like Vanilla Sunrise, you may not like Chocolate Hurricane. To me it taste along the same lines as Vanilla Sunrise. I like Chocolate better than vanilla. I mixed three scoops in 12 oz. of water to get more choclate taste. Still has a slight chalky feel. But I still like the makeup and profile of Isomatrix, so I will take it no matter how it taste!! If you are a chocolate protein fan, you should try it!

I disagree with this, hombre.

I like the fact that the chocolateness (is that a word?) is not overwhelming. I have found other chocolate powders to be way too thick and rich, which is why I usually stick to vanilla. But, our taste buds just differ on that.

I think the chocolate Isomatrix tastes much better than the vanilla, and the vanilla is pretty good (the vanilla did take some getting used to).

BTW, I mix two scoops with 3 ice cubes, 1.5 cups water, and a tbsp of Udo's blend.

Same here IAB. I actually mix 1/2 chocolate(designer protein) with 1/2 Vanilla(Syntrax Van. sunrise) to kill some of the chocolate. I love Syntrax Vanilla much more so I don't see a reason to even buy the chocolate.

I've just started using this too and I love chocolate. The flavor of this protein powder is not a rich, deep chocolate flavor, but is tasty nonetheless. I haven't tried the Vanilla, so I can't compare the two flavors.

Speaking in regards to the Vanilla there is absolutely NO CHALKY taste to it at all. I'm very perticular and believe me, I'd tell ya.

As I posted in the other Isomatrix Thread, I just received the Chocolate Hurricane and will be giving it a go later in the day. Looking very forward to trying it after reading all your posts. Worse case scenero, if it's too chocolatly, I'll mix it with a 2:1 ratio with Vanilla. Let ya know tonight when I'm back at work.

First let me go on record that I think that Syntrax is one of very best supplement companies...their products are top notch in quality and innovation. But...............

I am very disappointed in their Matrix Reloaded powders...frankly, I think they are some of the worst tasting protein blends on the market! They taste like battery acid. Now, this is confusing to me as their Nectar line is outstanding! Usually a company either is great at making powders or they suck, but Syntrax is achieving both at once. I'm absolutely sure that the quality of Matrix Reloaded is once again top notch, but if it tasted lousy, nobody is going to want to drink it.

I have to give the quality 2 biceps up, but the flavor 2 biceps down!

DG he isn't comparing Syntrax to VPX. He is stating his opinion regarding the taste of reloaded. He has spoken open and honestly in the past regarding VPX products but this thread isn't about VPX. He is sticking to the topic which is Syntrax Reloaded and not comparing his products to this one. He is merely stating his opinion and I welcome it.

One example that comes to mind, Gopro has gone on record as saying Clenbuterx tastes horrible but it works which I agree with 100% I dreaded every dose of that stuff but I still lost over an inch around my midsection on it.

Thanks FS...you are right...you have to compare apples to apples if you want to compare. Some of VPXs liquid PHs and fat burners are terrible tasting, but what we are talking about here is protein powders. Now, there are several people that are receiving alot of Syntrax product for free each month in return for promoting them on these boards, so I tend to think that some people (and I'm not saying YOU dg

) are just saying nice things regardless of what they think. I however, think that it is more useful to Syntrax to get an honest opinion b/c that can help them formulate a better product. When Jack (CEO of VPX) asks me to taste a new product, if I think its bad I will say its BAD! Honesty is better for the company.

I love Syntrax's stuff. I go through truckloads of their Nectar and regularly use several other of their products, but I am really disappointed in Reloaded...I was hoping it would be another protein blend option for me.

excellent Post GOPRO and as you can see, I know you pretty well bro. I have already posted that I receive some of their products for FREE because I also believe honesty is the best policy, expecially with my friends here at IM.com. There was no way in Hell anyone would have known I was getting them for free if I didn't say something. I no longer get Swole V.2 for FREE or Nectar and yet I just purchased both of them through 1FAST400 last night. So if I didn't like them and lied about them, I certainly would not have purchased them this time.
In regards to the Isomatrix Reloaded, as I again stated I just received a second container but this time in Chocolate...and YES for FREE people!! I stated last night that I would try it today and get back to everyone but I failed to do so. I haven't tried it as of yet. Now again,, to be honest, I actually liked the Vanella flavor very much!! I suppose GP, that is what makes the world go around. I'll tell you something, if you have a product that you use that you believe tastes better, let me in on it brother cause I'm always willing to try something new. Oh and by the way GP,, I also bought another bottle of REDLINE from VPX my man because it does taste great and it's less filling. hahahaha
Also for the record I have backed several VPX products in the past and still do as you can see above(REDLINE) and I have yet to get even a discount on any of them nor do I expect one and yet I still promote them. I only pass on what I've experienced for others here.

Regarding P/Hormones, I have only used Rich Gasparis brands and have had excellent strength gains with them and apparently some size according to my latest measurements. I had also stated in a post that I credit NO SINGLE COMPANY or PRODUCT form my gains since October because I've used ALL THREE concurrently so I credit ALL of them as well as your P/RR/S workout GP. This isn't old news because I've stated all this in several areas.
So I end this saying, if I SAY or WRITE something regarding a product, my statements are my HONEST, UNBIASED OPINIONS....Nothing more, nothing less.
GP this is directed towards your statement but not so much to you personally. But what you said MAY be true about some individuals and that would be SAD. I just want people to know ME and what I stand for and that I am NOT one of those People to sell my soul for a tub of protein.

Yep IF one is to COMPARE but as you can see this thread is moreso an advertisement rather then a comparison to VPX. It sounds like DG was offended by your post. I may be wrong but below is how I preceived his comment about VPX. Again it's a perception not fact. DG can speak for himself as to why he attempted to shift the negativity towards VPX.

Good question GBC. I'll give you the low down how it happened for me. I post alot in here, Training and several other areas. Someone from Sytrax sent me (and I believe several others) saying something to the nature that I seem to know my stuff about "whatever" yadda yadda yadda. He then said he'd be willing to send me a free sample of SWOLE V.2 and would appreciate some posts regarding how I felt about the product. Well he sent me a months supply which I thought was awesome. Usually you'll only get a day or twos worth of a sample product. Anyway I tried it and started a thread on it. My 1st post was regarding the taste which I found exceptional and throughout the month I posted more of my finding on the product all of which were positive. He read the threads and apparently liked what he saw and sent me some Fuzzy Navel Protein powder which again I fell in love with immediately. I posted on that too. He must of liked the posts because next I received Isomatrix Reloaded (vanella) and I really didn't post much on it other then I really liked the taste very much and switched to it in place of my current brand,,Designer Protein. A few days ago I was sent the same powder but in chocolate flavor which to date I have not tried as of yet. So there is the whole story in a nut shell.
I really didn't even post much on the Protein powder to be honest with you because what is there to say other then it's loaded up with lots of good quality ingredients and less fat and calories then my Designer Protein and that it tastes great(to me). Protein you really don't see mega results from as you do with Cell volumizers, and Pro hormones. It's a food replacement and an alternative way to reach your daily Protein percentages.
Lastly I did give mention to it as my protein of choice and listed it among the other VPX, SYNTRAX and GASPARI products that have been helping me achieve my goals. I've seen excellent gains using all these products so all of them are worth mentioning.
