I sure would think so, may not taste great though. Neither of those have high viscocity, so they should mix almost like water I'd say.

Why not just mix it with skim milk or water? I use a shaker cup with skim milk and ON Whey, and it does just fine.

If it gets a little worm,

You could always keep a small thermos in your bag that would probably carry to shaker cups and keep milk in there, or even cold water would taste hella better than juice

I have a Nursing class that is four hours long four days a week and a micro night class which is five hours long. On the days it is real cold out side I keep my milk in the car (the teacher started giving us a ten minute break half way though the class) and go make a shake. On the days it is not so cold I take my small cooler put a little ice in it then stop and buy some milk on the way to class or a few protein bars.

Alright all, since the juice thing came up(i didn't read through all the posts, just skimmed this time, sorry) I can tell you FROM EXPERIENCE that the vanilla ON Whey goes nicely with most grapefruit juices, peach juices, and some other combinations, but I do not recall ALL the palatable combos...hope this was some help!

Actually, a thermos will keep hot things hot, and cold things cold. Plus, you could throw a couple of ice cubes in there to keep it colder.

Yup, the thermos will work, but it would be tough to clean. Why not use one of those insulated lunch bags and some ice?
Warm milk usually isn't automatically spoiled, so if it gets a little warm for a couple hours you'd be OK.
I left a carton out on my kitchen table, went to work, came back, smelled it, smelled OK, drank it, no problem. It probably wouldn't be OK if I put it back and drank it in a day or two though.
The problem is bacteria reproduce faster in warmer temps, by getting the milk warm you increase the number of bacteria, which is OK up to a point, teh number of bacteria also increases (but slower) in the fridge, that's why it doesn't last forever even when kept cold.

I would keep the milk in the thermos and pour it into a shaker cup with the protein powder in it. No mess that way.
