    Dextrose vs Maltodextrin

Whats the difference between these two?

Dose anyone know the GI levels of both?

I'm struggling to find cheap dextrose in the UK, however I've found some maltodextrin pretty cheap (7.5lb for £19.99 or 15lb for £29.99... I chose the latter obviously )

I'm hoping they are very similar, everyone seems to recommend dextrose with creatine and for PWO shakes, but I want to know if it is really that much better than maltodextrin?

    thanks
