Transdermals and Showering

K, so I picked up a bottle of S1+, my first experience with a transdermal and I have what is probably a silly question.

I've got a gym at work and sometimes I'll work out at lunch there right, but the thing is I have to shower afterwards of course.

So if I rub in the S1+ at say 7 in the morning and hit the showers at noon after a workout, am I wasting any of the stuff? How long does it need to really "soak in"?

K, thanks.

Definitely not the ideal way to do it. I apply it at night before bed (around 11pm), workout in the morning, and apply again after the gym (around 11am). If u stay up till midnight, maybe try putting it on after your workout and then again at midnight. JMO.

The best time to apply transdermals is right after showering. The common advice is to avoid showering again for 5-6 hours after application. So I would either apply the transdermal an hour earlier, or take you post workout shower at 1:00 PM, to allow a 6 hour window.

I based my response on the instructions given with Androgel, a transdermal testosterone. The 5-6 hour window is to allow it to be completely absorbed, and to prevent accidental transferring to a loved one. It does use a different carrier then say Dermabolics, but it is the same concept. The instructions state "To ensure the greastest amount of Androgel is absorbed into your system, and to prevent accidental transfer, you should wait 5 to 6 hours after application before showering or swimming. Once in a while, you may shower or swim as soon as 1 hour after applying Androgel. If done infrequently, this will have little effect on the amount of Androgel that is absorbed by your body."
