Unhappy My multi vitamin is killing me!

I decided to try a multivitamin suppliment (megaman)to get what I have been lacking in my food intake. Since doing so, my stomach has been giving me problems. I follow the direction to the T. I take them with food and I drink lots of water. Is this my body's way of getting use to it? Should I give my body time to get adjusted to it? Has anyone else taking a multivitamin had this same problem?

When I was doing the Beverly Multi Vitamins, my stomach would knot up.

I stopped taking them and started taking Womens Ultra Mega.

You should try the male version

If it's hurting your tummy, you need to listen to your body and stop taking it. No amount of pain is worth getting use to unless it's weight training.

Are you taking one or two pills? Doesn't the bottle say to take two a day? I take them one in the morning, one in the afternoon. But yeah, if they are upsetting your stomach, stop taking them.

yeah, if your body is disagreeing with the vitamin for whatever reason stop taking it, switch to something else.

Isn't Megaman GNC's brand? If so, I would return it, they will do an exchange.

Isn't bad Vieope. But there's multis for just " well-being " then there's sports based multivitamins that have more of the essentials of an extremly active person.

It is not ! It is not!

Centrum is over RDA in almost any mineral or vitamin and the good thing is that it is never that high to achieve UL values.

The RDA is way too low for one thing, and secondly if you're an "athlete" the RDA is way off.

check out the TwinLab Daily Ones:

I take 3 per day, at separate meals.

The only thing that may be a problem with taking more than the recommended dosage of a vitamin, is for women, or pregnant women. Too much iron and Vitamin A is supposed to have problems with preg women, and too much iron period is not a good thing.

It can be a little more complicated than that.

OK..lol... yea its a little more complex, Im just saying its not ALWAYS a good idea to megadose vitamins, especially multi's because you may be getting just the right amount of one, and too much of another.

Why the Silver is for older ppl ? It sounds just about marketing. Maybe because it has more calcium ?

I dunno....that's how they market it though. I would try it, but I don't want to end up wearing Depends and growing 3" hair out of my ears.

I bought the Silver accidentally a while back. I didnt realize it until I opened the package, so I used it anyway.
But when you disarm them, you at once offend them by showing that you distrust them, either for cowardice or for want of loyalty, and either of these opinions breeds hatred against you.

Try Solgar's Multivitamins. I tried a couple of other multivitamins, including Centrum, and I'm not positive any of them worked as well. I know these work because my pee turns almost neon green the first piss or two after I take them.

Oh really. Then my multivitamin must be working, because my pee(I mean urine, please excuse the toddler talk ) turned neon green the day I started taking it. I must admit, that took a little getting used to.
