    Animal Pak...

Is Animal Pak deserving of its hype?

I hear again and again that its the best multi for atheletes, but i dont really see what makes it so much better than any other multi. For the hell of it, i bought a can of 'em to see how they were. Talk about a crapload of pills... and its expensive for how long one can lasts. On top of that they suggest taking 2 a day.

Yeah, it's a great multi. Is it nessesary to become an " animal " ... of coarse not.

I'd guess that most of the hype you've heard is from Universal or retailers selling their products. Its a good product, but not worth the expense IMO. Proper diet and any good multi should be more than enough.

    Hmm...

Well, taking price and marketing out of the equation, how would Animal Pak rate against other multi's?

I mean, are there really that many differences between different multi's?

I would definitely say it has A LOT more in it than a typical multi. How effective/necessary these ingredients are...I have no idea.

    My personal favorite...

    Ox Bile 120mg

God only knows what that is for...

    [i][b].....Ox Bile 120mg

God only knows what that is for...
I found some info on it....

    WHAT DOES IT DO?

Bile is a substance produced in the liver, stored in the gall bladder and secreted into the small intestines. There it breaks down fats and emulsifies them for absorption into the system.

The breakdown is okay but the amount and the sources arn't the greatest. All the herbs in it are good but again the amounts are small. I just don't see it as being worth the $$

For my multi I use Garden of Life "Living Multi". It's pricey but probably the best multi out there. If not that I'll use Bluebonette or Nature's Plus multi's.

Absolutely agreed. Have you ever used Solgar's products? Earth "something" or Omnipro (I think that's what it's called)

The price is high, and agree with the small amouts of the some subtances! Some of them may halso have some sources that may not the be the best, or may have some risks!

But in general, excluding price and marketing, i think that is relatevely good! The bad part is the number of pills you have to swallow...
