I dunno I only recently started experimenting with more esoteric things like amino acids, EFAs, thermogenics and stuff. Carbs, protein and water an hour or so before a workout is a constant though.

If your going to do anything, take small amount of protein (20-40 grams) and slow carbs (25-50) an hour or so before training.

Then immediately take 50-100 grams of fast carbs and 50-75 grams of whey post workout.

    Pre Workout

1 Scoop of Optimum Whey Protein
1 1/2 Scoops of Swole V2 (mix these together to save time)

    Post Workout

1 Scoop of Optimum Whey Protein
1 1/2 Scoops of Swole V2 (drink them seperately this time)
    2 tbsp. of peanut butter

Don't take in much carbs pre or post workout just because i'm trying to maintain my competition weight.

I can't resist the stuff The carb/protein ratio in the stuff is worth it. After a workout, 7g doesn't really hurt ya. Plus it's good as hell.

    Yup.

I roll out of bed at 430 in the morning to work out, and I am too damn tired at that hour to make breakfast. So, I eat a poptart and head to the gym. It's an oatmeal poptart though. Remember, do as I say, not as I do.

I actually misread the question. I thought it asked about a preworkout snack. I have been taking a tribulus supp the last few weeks, so I pop two tribulus pills before heading off to my workout.
