milk?
i was wandering whether or not i could stop taking whey protein shakes and just drink milk instead. I'm not worried about putting on weight at the moment and i'm pretty skint. Post workout i was thinking about buying a big tub of egg protein powder and using that instead of whey cause it's alot cheaper. What do you all think?

i know whey is one of the types of protein but at the end of the day protein is protein, right?

No, milk is a good source of protein, but it's not the same as a whey protein powder.
Yes, whey is a derivative of milk, but the absorbtion rate is what makes whey's BV the highest. And it has to be separated to yield this high BV. That's a non-technical explanation! ![]() |
