    I need Creatine help Fast

I just got myself 600g of creatine today...im gunna start taking it tomorrow, but ive been getting mixed answers on how i should take it. Im about 165lb so im gunna take 25g a day for 5 days for loading than, how much should i take on maintenance fase, ive heard that i should take 5g bcs some of it doesnt even register than ive heard i should take 10g (5 b4 a workout and 5 after), which one should i do....Also ive been getting mixed answers on how i should cycle it. I heard 6 weeks on 3 weeks off, but my buddy said 3 weeks was a long time, and i should just do 4weeks on and 1 week off.....Also im gunna take it with cool-aid or grape juice i heard....PLz any advice would be great for me b4 i start taking it....

PS. This thread is in Nutrition area but, i dont know how to move the threads or anything so srry if people are seeing this for the 2nd time :S

    Dude... Listen VERY closely.

    DONT do a loading phase.
    DONT cycle it.
Start at 10g a day(2 heaping tsp). Take one upon waking up, and one post workout. The best thing to mix with creatine is dextrose. But since you probably dont have any, use Welches Concord grape juice(purple). Also DONT pre mix the creatine, it is unstable in liquid form. Another good transport, is ALA. The ALA from HERE has dextrose added.(bulknutritions brand).

    Ok, here are the reasons.
Dont load, why? Because there is NO benefit to loading. It is a ploy so that YOU will use the creatine faster, and have to buy more. You will be pissing away your money.

Dont cycle, why? Creatine is NOT harmful. It can be used for as long as you want with nill negative effects. This is a safe supplement NOT a steroid

Does that clear things up, or do you need anothe Q answered?

EDIT, no you mix it with the grape juice. It just destabilazises over time in liquid. Not over a few minutes while your drinking it.

No, if its pure monohydrate, it will probably sink to the bottom of the cup/shaker. You will need to shake it to get it mixed up while drinking.

Do what you want man. If you search this board though, this question has been asked before. Most of the people will say not to load. The fact is your body wont be able to absorb all that creatine that you will be taking in. 20g is a lot. So basically you will be pissing it away.

Yea, creatine is pretty cheap here. But this kid doesnt live in the USA. Plus I dont want to spend my money if I dont have to. Especially on a product that got used faster than it should have, because of loading it

Alright it's my turn to be confused. I have always avoided Creatine because I heard those with kidney or liver problems must not take it. Hearing that I implied it might harm those organs. Any comments on this?

Im not a MD. So dont take this advice to heart, but they are prob right. If you have a pre-exhisting condition maybe it should be avoided. But creatine is NOT harmful. The only thing that you need to do is increase water uptake. Sure there is going to be more creatine being processed in your kidneys, will this harm a normal person? NO. But someone with a condition, it might put an un-necissary strain on the allready weak organ.

But again im not an MD so I really cant say.
