    Getting there without supplements

Because my money is going almost everything for food, I will stop using supplements.
Here, everything is overpriced. My list of supplements were about 20 different types.
How long you trained without supplements?
How bad do you think it is gonna affect me ?
    Thanks

It's stupid to do, should still stick with Vitamin E + C, and Multi.. That's all cheap. Maybe EFA's too.

    Deadlift - 315 X 17

from my experiance supplements (other than AS) are for pure convenience. meaning, you can achieve everything you do with supplements simply by eating whole foods.

for example, i could bring egg whites and white rice to the gym and use that post workout, but it is a lot easier (and cheaper) to put a scoop of whey and a scoop of dextrose in a shaker and take that with me instead.
Foreman_Rules could masturbate with one hand and finger his own anus with the other at the same time.

he is proud of this fact.

Oh yeah. No, I take my vitamins and minerals. I don´t consider this to be exactly supplements since I take them for years. The thing that changed after bodybuilding is that I increased the intake of some micronutrients.
    Oh, EFA is expensive here

If you take your vitamins and get enough food you'll be fine. If you can't get enough protein from food, Optimum 100% Whey is probably cheaper than most meals with 33g of protein (23g+10g from the milk). Each shake costs $0.34 including shipping in the 10 lb bags.

It is but I've never tried it and I wouldn't promote a supplement that I haven't tried.

Ah, but it must be good... Its a site sponsor. Plus Prince uses it, and anything that Prince uses is good enough for me.

I guess so. If I get a testimonial from someone that says that the chocolate flavor tastes good I would probably try it.

One of the things I really like about Optimum whey is the fact it mixes so easily in a shaker bottle. I wonder if allthewhey mixes as well.

Food is your best source for nutrients, Eggs and Fish specially, Whey is cheaper than Eggs this days, and the demand for creatine has made it very cheap.

I think that supplements are essential for todays bodybuilding world...

The whole idea of supplements are the fact that they are supposed to be just that.. SUPPLEMENTS. REPLACEMENTS for food, when food is not available. If you have plenty of good food, then your need for supplements drastically decreases.

I would say try to stick with at least 2 supplements though

    Multi vitamins
    Protein Powder.

I only use those two, plus creatine ( with the occasional m1-t) and I am making wonderful progress.

Dont be fooled, supplements dont make you big, eating right and training right make you big.

Because it is more expensive. I have to pay a fee 60% of the value of the product and there is the enormous exchange rate.(3x) The only thing that I will buy soon is PH´s and books.

Yeah Premier, it is quite impressive that you could understand that. Portuguese is a difficult language to understand. English is so easy .

darklight, What do you mean with import ? I think that is exactly what I am saying. If I buy anything here, that is not books, they will ask for huge fees.
    -----------------------------

Yes, but they most of the times don't stop in the customs! It depends...
Well, i knew about they were asking for brazialians passport in the US border... I don't know if they always check the packages...

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
