My dad used to go to a therapist for his stress. I don't think they gave him any prescription medicine for the stress but for sleep I would go with melatonin.

    If you want weird dreams...

    Plouffe's Dream Stack

    1000mg Valerian Root
    1000mg St.Johns Wart
    1000mg Ginko Biloba
    6mg Melatonin

    It's awesome.

Take that 45 minutes before hop in a hot shower. Totally Relaxation / 0 Stress. And if you happen to Dip* " Chew Tobacco " --- Throw in a fat ass dip in the shower. That usually tops it off for myself. Goodluck man.

I don't see how that is possible. I do know that smokers have a lot of veins but smoking and chewing are pretty different.

I don't know if this will help with your stress...however, it's been proven to help with sleep.

It's called ZMA. If you do a search, there are many postings here in regards to this supplement.

As for stress......take things one day at a time. If you need talk, send me a PM. We've all been there at some point

    Thanks

I would suggest you try the amino acid 5 HTP. Take 150 mg about 2 hours before bed. It has been proven in clinical trials to be effective at helping people fall asleep. Also, it is used to reduce anxiety and depression since it raises serotonin levels.

3 caps of ZMA about 30 minutes before bed is a great stack with the 5 HTP. The magnesium will relax you and most athletes are defiecient in zinc, so it's worth taking.

I believe in St. John's Wart. When things get a little hectic in my life, taking St. John's Wart for a couple of days seems to take the edge off a little.

    Melatonin and St. Johns Wart.

I have a type A personality and very weird sleep issues, so I take melatonin. Take just a little bit from the caplet and lick it off your hand, and go to sleep just fine. You may not need to much, so be careful or you will be groggy.

You will not wake up during sleep and have great REM sleep with lots of dreams.

Lay off the caffeine after like 4pm too!

If you just want something that will knock your ass out, try "Simply Sleep" by Tylenol. Two of those and you'll be sleeping like a rock. You might wake up a little groggy though.
