Ok, for the first article... he says that there is no proof a person NEEDS "8 glasses a day", but he does not site any hard, substantial evidence. Further, he does not provide any negative effects to high water intake. Then, he suggests that it is beneficial to increase water intake in order to stave off certain diseases.
In addition to these points, I argue that if you are performing strenuous activities, such as weight lifting, cardio, etc. high water intake is a must. And he says the same thing in the article. We are 75%+ water, it's such a vital part of our systems, why would you avoid it?????![]()
