Type of flaxseed to buy, where, how much?

I need more EFA's in my diet (thx atherjen )

I have been doing searches on various forums.

People's advice range from pill to powder to oil... I don't know which avenue to go!!!

I am guessing oil as it will be easy to put in my shakes, I only need to take it one or two times as opposed to pills (like 5-10 times).

How long does it last? Where can I buy it? How much will it cost me?

    Logistics!

Why not just take Fish Oil capsules?

i prefer fish oil to flax ...except for the fish burps

your talking about putting it in shakes..thats cool but dont add it to your post workout shake....fats slow down the protien uptake, and you body wants the protien fast after a workout

Barleans Flax Seed Oil is the best. It's in the refrigerated section. They alos have organic and high-lingan varieties. Eat a lot of tuna and take the flax and you get the best of both worlds, IMO. NO flax w/ protein, unless you're intent on slowing protein uptake. Yes flax with oral PH (non-mehthylated).

Do you take them? How much are they? Just one capsule a day?

Actually most people here take them.

    I take them yes. I take 8-10 caps a day of the 50% EPA/DHA. If I buy the lower EPA/DHA then I take 15-20 caps a day.

    Yup, except for PWO!

I buy mine at Kilosports or Black Star Labs. They both have the 50% EPA/DHA
