Talking M 1 Test combined with Zocor

Does anyone know whether Methyl 1 Test will be harmful if taken with Zocor for high colesterol? The doc doesn't seem to know. Any help would be appreciated....

Well I can tell you I have done three M1t cycles, all while taking Zocor. If you have pre-existing liver problems, something your doctor will check, they will not put you on Zocor. If you check out ok, and are successfully using Zocor now then I think you'll be fine. I had blood work done 3 weeks after a 4 week M1T/4AD cycle and my liver enyzme values (ALP, AST, ALT) were in the normal range. LDL was 80, HDL 44, total cholesterol was 133.

Thanks JD. I am currently and successfully on Zocor. Chol levels are all in the normal range now, but were off the charts before Zocor. Also, liver functions were perfect. So, based on your experience I should be fine to take the M 1 Test without any conflicting interactions. Does anyone know, if there are any effects of taking the M 1 Test with the occasional Viagra use? Or with smoking cigarettes? Thanks again for your feedback JD.

I have never used M1T but have used UCP-1 a couple of times. Liver values were back to normal about a week after use. I smoke a pack a day.

I am not sure how UCP-1 and M1T compare to each other in terms of liver damage, but i think UCP-1 (usnic acid) might be worse.

Just be careful because liver values do not necessarily tell the whole story

252, but I also was 235 lbs @ 30%BF. I had it checked twice after being put on Zocor and it was 230, then later 215. I dropped down to 205 lbs @ 14%BF and it tested at 133. My HDL was 49 before and it did drop to 44, probably a result of M1T.

Well it worked that way for me. Definitely have blood work done, it sounds like your doctor is cool to discuss with.

As far as Viagra, I have no idea. You could try PMing bandaidwoman for advice on that. Cigarettes? You know the answer to that one.

JD, I'm scheduled for more blood work in 4 weeks, so I figured I'd go ahead and do a cycle, to see if it elevates the readings at all. Something tells me that the Zocor will still keep them in check. How long of a cycle do you do? I hear anything from 2 to 4 weeks and then go on 6 oxo for the same on your off cycle. Is that what you've done???

Just be aware that M1T can make your cholesterol literally skyrocket. It may not in some, but it will in others. So be careful. You may want to take some Sesathin along with it as well.

I personally like 3-4 weeks on M1T. After 2 weeks, my weight is up, but strength increases for another week or two past that. In your case since it is your first cycle, and you are having blood work done, I would do two weeks on, then 6-OXO for two weeks and have your blood work done. When doctors check cholesterol, they check liver enyzmes also, which is a good thing but don't be surprised if they are slightly elevated.

Realize that Zocor puts stress on your liver also, so using with M1T is a double edged sword. On one hand it helps keep cholesterol in check, but in combination with M1t, puts even more stress on the liver.
