Oatmeal and protein powder

Is protein powder ok hot??? How do you guys make this?

I microwave my oatmeal then add some lo carb milk and some blueberries.Then i stir in 2 scoops of chocalate whey powder.

CAte, i don't want you to take this as an insult as it is not meant to be at all.

what you can do is do a quick search for an answer before you type it up. the search button is over in the top right. some people actually bake their protein powder in muffins and breads although i don't. it would probably cause no more damage to the protein structure than cooking a roast does.

many people on this board dump their protein powder into cooked oatmeal. that's all there is to it.

scroll thru the food and diet section to see where people are talking about it. it may take some time but you may get some other information as well.

I just mix 2 scoops of protein powder with 1 cup oatmeal in my blender with 12oz's either water or some form of skim or Low carb milk... tastes awesome...

to answer your question. you can not cook or heat whey protein fractions, they are very fragile and heat sensitive. But you can cook with caesin or milk protein isolates...
