I promised a full review of my absolved and lipoderm usage.
I been gone for awhile for spring breaks so my measurements are gonna be a little so I'll just use bf before and after.
I did 2.5-3 weeks of absolved (1 bottle) I went from 7.9%bf to 7.7% it definitly wasn't a lot but the product seemed to have results and help when eating in cals below maintainance. Like many have said the product is not dramatic but at 20 bucks (when I bought it) it was definitly a good buy, and I was happy with the results.
Next to the second part of the post - lipoderm-y grrrrrrrrr
I started using lipoderm after my abolved bottle was gone. I used for almost 1.5 weeks with no bad sides and the product gave me a nice thermo feel. However one morning I woke up with a gigantic burn that runs from under my lower ribs on one side of my body to the other. It scabbed up very quickly - and has left me with a very bad permant scar on my abs.
Obviously I have to give lipo the thumbs down on this one, the fact that I showed no signs of any sides and then out of the blue have something so serious happen is really rough. I was really hoping that it wouldn't scar but I am not that lucky.
BTW. - I used 4 sprays of lipoderm 2xs a day and I was using 6 sprays of absolved 2xs a day.
I only ask, becuase I've actually been burned, as in burned by fire, and the scar went away.
I've also had an abnormally horrible case of poison ivy where 90% of my body was covered and I needed constant shots...to make a long story short, I had about the nastiest scabbed over skin ever, and it left no scars, so I doubt you're going to have a permanent scar.
That's strange. I've used LipoY on just about every body part and I've never had any side effects from it. Sometimes my skin gets a little dry from the Absolved but that's expected.

the scab has been gone for about 2 weeks and their is definitly a large scar - I guess the use of the word "permanent" might be a bit early to say - however it has been a couple of weeks and it is definitly a scar so I don't see it fading anytime soon.
Two weeks? Your skin is still healing, dude! It's not going to look the same for at least a month, but that's different from a scar. You had a serious dermal inflammation, but I highly doubt the ingredients in lipo-y "burned" a permanent scar into you.
If you're worried, I can send you "before" and "after" pictures of serious scabbing and aggravated poison ivy that requirec medical intervention, and subsequent total recovery.
Oh, there are products that accelerate the diminishment of scars, but I've never used one, and you probably are sick of putting things on your skin right now!
Mederma (I think that' it) is suppose to work well.

sounds like some sort of allergic reaction... I will probably continue to use lipoderm ultra for years... actually, it's one of my fav products... I am sorry though, that does suck, it's weird you say you used it for 1.5 weeks and then all of a sudden noticed this huge reaction... just seems strange to me... but I don't even pretend to be a doctor...
