Phosphagen HP is a creatine product with added carbs to create an insulin spike. Research shows this can increase the amount of creatine absorbed by your muscles.

The downside to this is that the amount of carbs needed for this to be effective is about 100 grams. This amount can lead to you feeling nauseous, bloating, and even increased fat storage especially if you drink more than one serving of Phosphgen HP daily.

Your better off using regular creatine powder + warm water or adding creatine to your post-workout shake.

I'm sure everyone will probably bag on *any* creatine/high glycemic mix but personally I like Phosphagen PH. Not as thick and sweet as Cell-Tech. This years model I guess is Swole or maybe SAN products but Phos PH is CHEAP compared to other premixed creatine supps.

Your right, Phosphagen HP is cheap and is good to take post-workout with a scoop of whey protein added. The only problem is drinkining it at other times of the day may lead to an increase in bodyfat storage due to the large insulin spikes.

I am still for normal creatine monohydrate + dextose + grape juice.
