Tell me what you guys think of this mix...
Like I have said before I am a super hard gainer.. I am in college and physically cannot eat 5-6 meals a day.. I need the extra cal's that isnt really up for debate.. My main concern now is protein..
Oh AS of today I have added creatine to my sup list.. which includes: 1.) a total daily intake of an estimated 1850 cals for the weight gainer (I about puke drinking it all at once so it is spaced in 3 equal amounts) 1 in the morning, post work out (or on off days 2nd lunch) and the final for my dessert meal (2nd dinner).. 2. ) 5 grams of L-Glutamine post work out (mixed in with shake)... 3.) Multi vit one in the morn one in the later afternoon (1st dinner) QUESTION: So I plan on taking 5g of creatine along with the L-glut in my post work out shake... Is that a safe combo and or a good or bad idea? Question 2: THE PROTEIN debate.. I believe from the w.g I am getting 1850 cal's, and around 50 grams of protein. (Im not quite sure how much total protein I am getting per day total but I estimate Im not meeting the 1.5 per lb that I am going for).. SHOULD I add a little bit of whey protein in my diet during the day? I am shooting for 200 total per day?? (or perhaps a bars would do the tricK for that extra protein) Let me know guys I need your advice Im taking this serious and Im not trusting the guy at GNC who just wants to sell me stuff.. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ok other than that I am going to keep you guys posted on how I am progressing.. My new (complete) diet will commence on monday.. starting point 5.10-11, 130-135..... Short term goal 10-20 pounds in 2-3 months, would like to eventually get to 155-165.. with endurance and strength out the ying yang... Im not looking to cut and be super defined, I actually would like a slightly cut but yet heavy appearance (just not fatty) Oh and I stopped running today :-( , but refuse to stop cycling... I am only doing 10-15 min a day and doing it lightly.. I cant continue otherwise I wont put on lots of pounds... |

you aren't getting enough calories.

1850 from the w.g on top of whatever else I take in real food... My god I can barly stand the shakes now.. hehe.. Seriously though what do you recommend then, in addition in order to add more cals to my total daily amount..

i have the same problem as you, the hard gainer type... so i try increasing the number of times i eat and it works.. i eat like 4 times a day, and i gained 1-2 pounds in a week.. btw the food is healthy not some junk food or whatsoever... by healthy i mean brown rice, chicken and stuff like that...
P.S im takin 14 credits in college, so its not that i really have a lot of free time. |
