yes, but if you're going to compete you might want to stop using it a week or so before the show, creatine tends to make some people a bit puffy.
Is it alright to take creatine while in the cutting process? Thanks for any help.

alright, thanks prince!
i have always heard this, but never understood why it is so. Creatine stores water within the muscle belly, not under the skin, therefor it should make your muscles look bigger and fuller, but your subcantanous matter (fat & water) should stay the same. Anyone know?Originally posted by Robert DiMaggio

I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.
Lam I use Swole V2. This is the only creatine I have responded to at all. Regular mono does nothing for me at all. I took some MetRx micronized creatine for like 6 months and did nothing. I am actually thinking of stopping the Swole after this bottle is gone. Its my second bottle and I can't say its worth the money for me
Agree this could be down to the brand and purity of your creatine, althoughjust using another brand may not make the difference you wish. Why? Production costs and impurities.
Creatine causes water retention inside the muscle cell. Good water retention. Desirable water retention. Creatine DOES NOT cause water retention under the skin. You want water retention inside the muscle at all times. You want to increase the fluid holding capacity of the muscle cell. This is what creatine does and this is a major physiological pathway to how creatine works to increase muscle size and strength.
Creatine impurities.
Creatine products with more than 5% impurities have been found on the market. The reaction conditions as well as the treatment of the crude Creatine Monohydrate are crucial for the quality of the product. Inferior starting materials or reducing the amount of water during "recrystallization" results in increased amounts of impurities (such as Dicyandiamide (dimerization product of Cyanamide), Creatinine (Cyclization product of Creatine) and Dihydrotriazines). Try to find a company that tests its +raw products +in production + end product using HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography) HPLC test of creatine monohydrate addresses the impurity factors associated with it.
When a manufacturer is sourcing-blending-buying creatine most will do this on the basis of making the most profit.
Large quantities small retail prices or worse advertising bumf and full retail mark up to support ongoing adverts and sponsorship and free samples etc. EG. 99.9%pure or 99.8% or even less, this might not seen like much to you but when buying in massive quantities this makes a massive saving’s of hundreds of thousands of Dollars then Pounds as all supplements eventually come to the UK on the hype of USA sales and mag adverts. What you don’t realise is that all of these impurities mount up.
Looking for the creapure label on your creatine is no guarantee of purity. CREAPURE is simply a logo licensed by a company called SKW. It is their way of "branding" their product. It has nothing to do with purity other than their marketing campaign saying that it does.
If you are turning to the bodybuilding magazines for truthful advice of supplements, you're being ripped from both ends. You’re being lied to from ads that are disguised as articles and you are getting lied to from the ads themselves.
