    Grams in scoops

When taking protein supplement the lable says somthing like this

    Serving Size (g) 65
    Servings Per 21
    Calories 210
    Fat Calories 0
    Total Fat (g) 0
    Cholesterol (mg) 5
    Sodium (mg) 320
    Potassium (mg) 750
    Total Carbs (g) 3
    Dietary Fiber (g) 2
    Sugars (g) 0
    Proteins (g) 50

    Then it says "Suggested Use:
For a rich, thick shake, mix 2 scoops with 12oz of water in a shaker or blender"

How many protein is in just ONE SCOOP? is there 25g or 50g?

    Akilly,

Here is where the confusion usually lies...
If you look at the label it usually will say Serving Size 1 scoop (30g). *This is an example. If you read down the label of all the ingredients you will also see protein like (22g). Now most new to protein will think that because it says 1 scoop is (30g) that is how much protein per scoop. This is where they are wrong. You want to focus on where it says protein (22g). This is the key. Now in this case each scoop would contain (22g) of protein, NOT (30g). So you would take 2 scoops which would = (44g) plus the additional amount if you add milk of course. So with milk it would bring you slightly above 50 where you want to be.

Hope this helps clear it up.

Most likely one scoop is 25, however most scoops say how many ml so you could take a guess. Most single scoop PROTEIN drinks (not talking weight gainer) are 20-25g protein. Mine at home are 22g and under 100ml, I'd have to check.

So what every the label says like Protein (22)g. That is how much protein is in each scoop. OK cuz I bought the GNC mega isolate. It's says down on the label that it has Protein (50)g. and it's says for thick and rich mix 2 scoops of powder with 12oz of water. So I was putting in 2 scoops of mega isolate protein. So I was actually I was getting 100 grams of protein?

It depends on the serving size, but most likely 2 scoops is 50grams.
