Question Beginner searching for the right supplement...

I would say that I am somewhat new to the supplement scene and have only tried a few. Creatine, whey protein, and Animal Stak to be specific. They seemed to work fine, but not satisfactory enough for me. Right now I'm trying to start working out again (took a nice, unnecessary 5 month break from the gym), and I need help choosing a supplement.

I'm leaning towards a prohormone, I'm trying to gain a good amount of solid mass and an ample amount of strength. I did a lot of reading on 5-Androstenediol, and it seems affordable and from what I've read, effective. I'm looking to gain 10-15 lbs. within a month or so, at least that's my goal. I just need a little experienced advice right now to help me choose.

I also read a bit about T-Bomb, though I have no idea what in the world it is. I've read it's different than Testosterone, but I couldn't find the side effects for this one. When I was younger I was somewhat acne prone so if there is a strong supplement that would really trigger acne I don't know if it would be the best choice. I know prohormones potentially can do this but I've read that chances are slim.

5-Androstenediol seems like it's really affordable and promised to work, but I figured I'd ask here before I bought it just in case anyone had tried it out. I don't want to buy it and then not produce satisfactory results. T-Bomb is expensive, and I don't want to buy it and produce unsatisfactory results from it either. But I'm open to other supplements, not just these two.

If anyone could give me some advice on what I should get, as well as a list of pros & cons for that supplement, I'd appreciate the help.

- John

P.S. I am about 5'7" at 145 lbs. if that helps

If I remember correctly T-bomb is no good. If you are new to bodybuilding you should not play with PH. Dieting is the answer.

I'm not exactly new to body building. I've been lifting for 5 years on and off, and have taken one cycle of Animal Stak, three cycles of Creatine and two large cycles of Whey Protein. As of now I am trying to get back into building, I seek a solid build and I seek a good PH to help me achieve this quickly.

I did a little searching on T-Bomb and found that many tried it, and found it was no good. I am still interested in 5-Androstenediol, and possibly other supplements to help me achieve my goal.

If anyone could offer any useful advice I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

What he means to say, is that if you're considering 5-Andro, you don't have the experience and knowledge yet to be toying around with substances that can really f' you up if you don't know what you're doing. 5-Andro is so bunk, only two companies still sell it. It's great for man-boobs and zits, but shit for muscles (with the slightest of possible exceptions in a stack; however 4AD is far, far superior)

In the very least, it means you did not read the Prohormone Sticky at the top of this forum, which has everything you need to know in it.

My advice:

Spend some time reading here, NEVER buy anything from GNC or anything recommended there, and do your shopping here:
