whey shake question
I just started using a post-workout whey shake (no carbs) and it makes me feel really unfocused and lightheaded soon after I drink it. When I eat an hour later, the weird feeling eases a little but doesn't go away completely for awhile. Does anyone else feel like this after their post-workout shake? Is this normal or should I switch back to whole foods? It sucks going to class after the gym feeling all foggy...

so...are you saying that having carbs with the shake would help with the effects of the insulin spike instead of making them worse? (I feel like a walking science experiment and I never know what is going to fix the problem and what is going to magnify it...)

Thanks for your help - I drank my shake really slowly today and then had some strawberries with my next meal soon afterwards and it went much better. On an unrelated topic - I was searching the archives and came across the eating like a caveman thing and was wondering if you are still following that plan and how it is or was working for you...
