do you respond to creatine and dextrose? if you do, buy it all in bulk with some r-ala if you can afford it.

i respond very well to creatine. the only problem i have with it is that it takes forever to tire my muscles out big surprise there! but while on the stuff i can gain 8 lbs in 2 months without blinking an eye (once ive been on then off, so added water weight is negated). now that my diet is corrected, it should go even better.

im not familiar with r-ala. what is it, and what does it do? ive also never used dextrose.

I use MRM creatine at the moment (not sure brand matters in my situation). I heat a coffee mug of water for a minute in the microwave, then add the creatine (disolves really well) then add one scoop of power aid and a spoonful of honey (in lieu of dextros). I make this before I workout, and then I drink it within minutes of finishing my workout along with a whey and water shake. This is my new post workout drink routine.

r-ala improves insulin sensitivity and dextrose is just a good high gi carb. maltodextrin is supposed to be good too.

I use ON's creatine monohydrate. It's not the most fancy formulation by it's cheap and effective.

Creatine is very unstable in solution. This is not a great routine. I'd start bringing the creatine in a seperate container and mix it right before you drink it.

To answer the question. I've used AST Micronized Creatine, Swole V2, San V12, and Vitalstate Creatine Actijubes. The V12 and Actijubes have been the best so far. Especially, the actijubes.

How long before the creatine becomes unstable? I drink the brew about an hour after I make it. Basically I make it, go to the garage, workout, head back into the house down the brew and chase it with whey and water shake. If this is too long, I certainly can mix it after I workout, I just may have to wait about 10 minutes or so to let the stuff cool off.

ive heard do it right away. its much more stable in water, however.

DO NOT mix with protein, because protein breaks it down like nobody's business. i used to throw it in my shake because id take it down in 30 sec, but i wouldnt let it sit in protein.

As you use ast products you may wish to look at this article on their site, here is part of it relating to the above.

    Anabolic Nutrient Timing Rule# 2.

Use Micronized Creatine twice in the 3 hours post training.

When used correctly creatine is one hell of a lean mass accelerator. Research on the cellular mechanisms of creatine transport clearly demonstrate that creatine uptake is determined by one thing; its own cellular concentration. Maximal uptake into muscle only occur when cells are depleted and blood creatine and insulin levels are high (5). Therefore, the best time to take your creatine is after your workout. Apart from rapid energy replenishment, creatine reduces intracellular damage and triggers potent independent mechanisms of muscle growth.

Therefore, to produce an even greater anabolic effect include one serving of micronized creatine into your carbohydrate/VP2 drink mix. An oral dose of 5 grams of creatine easily saturates plasma creatine levels for approx. 1-hour (5). So you don't waste your creatine, wait at least another hour before you take another 5 gram serving. But, once you've loaded that's really all the creatine you need to take. Two servings within 3-hours after training. Remember, the timing of nutrients is the key to maximal uptake and effectiveness, not the amount you shovel down.

*Side note; for truly incredible results, use a serving of Micronized Creatine HSC as your simple carbohydrate source mixed with your VP2 in water. The Hyper Saturation Complex is tailored to facilitate maximum creatine transport into muscle. Introduced at this time it will provide an even greater anabolic effect!

you will find lots of info if you look for it on R-ALA also.
If you are turning to the bodybuilding magazines for truthful advice of supplements, you're being ripped from both ends. You’re being lied to from ads that are disguised as articles and you are getting lied to from the ads themselves.
