most chocolate flavored whey proteins actually taste like chocolate...so it is a "safe" choice taste wize...
i remember seeing a post a while about about what flavor whey protein people take (it was a poll) and almost everybody said they use chocolate because it's safer ... how is it safer? what makes it safer from all the others. I use vanilla ... or did, i ran out a few days ago and have to go buy me some more, but i'm thinking about getting chocolate if someone could tell me why it's "safer". thanks

I like chocolate the best, but it doesn't mix as well as vanilla or strawberry. I haven't tried any other flavors yet.

i think that people chose chocolate as it was 'safe" in the sense that the stuff was going to taste like chocolate. I have tried a couple of vanilla products and the versions of vanilla vary widely. Some tasted like burnt caramel, some tasted too vanilla-y and other tasted just right ( goldilocks and the 3 bears here _). so chocolate is a 'safe' bet.

I do chocolate almost always, vanilla is a crap shoot. Strawberry Optimum Nutrition is ok but not what I'd call "delicious," strawberry has always been described as a tough taste to duplicate. It kind of tastes like a flat funky strawberry soda, I traded with a friend who could not stand it, to me its just fine, just not great.
