    Good Time release Multivitiman

Ok I have a question a couple of people including trainers have told me that a Multivitiman like one a day that is not time released is not good because it all going out at once it hits the stomach and everything cancels out. Is this true? Also can anyone recommend a good time relase multi vitiman that is not taken two times a day? or to get a good time release do i need a two times a day? Please let me know. One other question to accompany this. I read about people who take multi minerals. What are the benifits and reasons for this? Just curious anyone who can help out let me know thanx

Well if you look at the nutritional content of some of those multi-vitamins, two pills give you WAY more than 100% of your RDA of a lot of vitamins and minerals. Do you really need 2000% RDA of Thiamin, or 1500% of B-6? That said, I buy the pills that say take two a day, but I only take one. IMO, a healthy diet makes up for not taking the 2nd pill.

I used to take the GNC Mega-Men pills. They are timed release. But now I take The Vitamin Shoppe's house brand "Ultimate Man" pills....same damn thing (timed release also) as the GNC pills for about 1/3 the price.

I'm not sure what multi-minerals are. Sounds like maybe it's the same thing as a multi-vitamin???

I take anabol naturals "biobolic life". Although, it's not a timed release formula. I take 2 twice daily. I used gnc's mega man for years. But, I got tired of tablets. So, now I only take vitamins in capsule form. It's my understanding that capsules have better potency than tablets.
