    Creatine Dilemma...Please help!

Alrite I'm gonna try to make a long story short and hope you can all give me your advice or opinions on this.

I am a college athlete and decided to take Swole V2 and Whey Protein this summer to gain strength. I was only on it for about 1-2 weeks when I developed arthiritis. The arthiritis is under control now so I can workout again. I haven't lifted in almost 3 months so I've lost a ton of power and endurance. To control my arthiritis I am taking an anti-inflammatory called Etodolac. I only take it when I am bothered by the arthiritis.

When I start working out again I want to continue using Swole and Protein...however my mom swears the swole V2 is what hurt me in the first place and my old HS coach told me to stay away from supplements. I need to regain strength quickly and want to take my supplements, but don't know what to do.

Swole V2 didn't cause me the arthiritis...right?Is it safe for me to continure using Swole and Protein while on Etodolac? What would you all suggest? Thanks

I've never heard a single claim that Creatine or related supps could cause arthritis. I cant imagine a way that this could even be possible. Doc's are notorious for advising against supps and few really know anything about them. As far as interactions between Swole and Etodolac, I cant really say. Might want to ask in the General Health forum and see if some of the docs have any advice.
But when you disarm them, you at once offend them by showing that you distrust them, either for cowardice or for want of loyalty, and either of these opinions breeds hatred against you.

ditto...creatine is stored in skeletal muscle only. it has no effect on the joints and ligaments, etc..

There are over one hundred studies on creatine and none of them have reported serious side effects.
