What is the best amount of time to eat after taking a post workout shake??

I would really like to know what is the best amount of time to wait until eating a solid meal after downing a post workout shake? I usually wait about 1 1/2 - 2 hours before eating a solid meal! Is this too long to wait???

eat within an hour, preferably 30 minutes after the end of your workout.

mix carb and protein.

you can have your shake right after your workout and then have a carb/protein meal within the hour.

if you wait longer your glycogen stores will fall and you will go into a catabolic state.

this will lead to muscle loss and not gain.

I would consume a whole food meal 60 minutes after you complete the PWO shake...
