    Vitamin C

I was recently told by someone that I should be taking extra vitamin C in addition to the MGs in a multivitamin and other supplements. Is this true?

Depends on who you talk to. I do. My multi has 150mg, so I add a 500mg C in the morning, and another at night (total 1150). From the nutrition books I'm reading, that does me good...

that, or I have really expensive urine.

The RDA for vitimin C is 60 mg a day. I think everyone should consume alot more than this. Vitimin C is water soluble so overdose is not a concern. It is a powerful antioxident, is stimulates the immune system, helps in healing wounds and is essential for healthy strong connective tissue.
