meal replacement or protein powder?

Hello

I am 6’2 195pds and looking to lose some weight while lifting weights. I want to reach 185 to 190. I just started GoPro’s workout program and I would like some tips on what’s the best meal replacement on the market today? I don’t know if I should buy the meal replacement or the Protein Powders. What’s the best choice in my case and what results would I get choosing one of them?
I am taking L-Glutamine as well
Thanks
Jay_d

mrp = meal replacement product

different powders have different macros. you just have to read labels and find 1 that contains the right macros to help you reach your goal.

there are many types of proteins. there is a thread somewhere on here that breaks them all down for you. maybe jodi or someone can post a link for you.

this is just my opinion, but i'd say screw the mrp, pure whey is much cheaper.

if i want a mrp, i throw in a banana, whey, some oats, extra virgin olive oil/or flax oil, and im good to go

go team
