Protein powder and L-Glutamine?

Hello,
I am in the process of training to lose some weight and get cut, so I would like to know if
Protein powder and L-Glutamine go together? Will I be getting the results I need with both of this supplements? And of course I am exercising and dieting.
I am doing the GoPro’s workout program?

Thx,
Jay

If you look at the typical amino acid profile of whey protein powders they often contain 5g or more of l-glutamine per serving, so adding even more of the stuff is a waste of time IMO. Take the glutamine post workout with creatine to aid recovery and protein shake shortly after.

Muscle & Fitness magazine recently suggested taking 5g of glutamine just after you wake up to get your nitrogen balance up.

This is exactly what I do. I wait 30 minutes between shakes. Carbs and creatine w/ L-glutamine gets aborbed fast (immediately after workout). Then 30 minutes later, whey.
