I usually use a scoop (32 g) of Solid Whey protein (chocolate) in skim milk. I have up to three shakes per day.

You can add anything you want so long as it fits into your diet.

    Thumbs up

For breakfast this morning I had 2 scoops of vanilla whey blended with 3 cups of a fruit juice blend (Pineapple/Orange) and threw in 2 frozen bananas. Awsome. Fruit and Whey go great together. Low in fat, taste great! Of course, you don't need that much juice. You could sub some milk in, too. It sounds wierd, but milk, fruit juice and (good tasting) whey go great together. Adding berries or frozen fruit is always nice, too.

I am partial to chocolate flavored whey with whole oats. quick and easy and it tastes good...

I also like to use chocolate whey, cottage cheese and natty pb when for a night time protein shake if i'm out of blended protein powders...

I eat oatmeal every monring, and throw in 2 scoops of my protein of my oatmeal. Add some flavor (applesauce for quick carbs), some cinnamon-whatever floats yout boat.

If you want to know how much-multiply your bodyweight in lbs to 1 gram a day. That's your base. If you are dieting, add a gram and a half. Gaining? 2 grams a day. This works for me.

I have been advised (some time ago) that the body can only assimilate about 20 grams of protien at any one sitting. Is this true?

    Thanks

No, it varies considerably between individuals depending on many factors. There is no absolute number that applies to everyone in every situation.
