Whats your favorite bar?

Whats your favorite protein/meal replacement/quick energy bar?

My favorite one is Twinlab Soy Sensations. For $.99 you get 14g protein in a high protein low carb bar. The bars arent that bad tasting and small so quick consumption. That with a 16oz glass of skim milk makes for a great snack or add another bar and have a great post workout meal.

For those of you who have a Costco in the area, Premier makes a great protein bar that is less than $1 per and it has roughly 30g of whey protein. Great stuff!

I tried a Labrada strawberry shortcake bar. Good stuff! I'll be buying a box from DPS next time I order.

Generally, I eat Myoplex Low Carb bars. I'll usually eat it right before bed.

A couple weeks ago I needed a quick protein fix after my workout, so I was forced to buy one at my gym. $3.50 for one bar! YIKES! $1.75 for the same bar if I buy a box online.

Moral of the story: Never buy a protein bar at the gym!!!

Hey, I own a gym...buy bars at the gym!!!! But, honestly, I refuse to mark up my prices as high as most gyms...$3.50 is nuts!

OOPS. I thought you worked at one! What gym do you own?

The gym I go to now (Powerhouse) marks them up higher than my former gym (Bally's). I didn't think that was possible.
