Aminos are the building blocks of protein which is the building block for muscle. After workout, you need protein, but you also need carbs. I personally drink an isopure shake, then eat some simple carbs about 15 minutes later. Raisins, applesauce, juice. mmmmm

I was told to say away from ion exchange (Isopure) by a couple of pros. One article I found was http://www.nutraceuticalsworld.com/marapr99-b8.htm

    Prostitutes, i'd guess.

If you wolfing down 300-400g protein a day, the brand of protein you get isn't gonna make such a huge difference from another if we're talking plain whey (whether it be concentrate or isolate).

But to be honest, i do like pro-peptide by Chemical nutrition if i can regularly afford it. Makes me stink tho. Other than that i just go for plain ol' EAS Simply Whey in 5lb tubs for quite cheap of the ol' t'interweb.
