    Thumbs down BSL's bad service

    I know this site is popular here, but I just wanted to warn people that Black Star Lab's customer service isn't up to par. I ordered some orange flavor mix to go with my protein, and it arrived in a hard chunk--as opposed to powder. It is impossible to break up and use. I emailed them to ask for a replacement and if they wanted me to send it back. So they emailed me saying, "This happens due to the hydroscopic nature of the sucralose and citric acid". Again, I asked for a replacement. No response. Emailed again. No response. It has been weeks. Very disappointing. On top of it, the Lipoderm they sent me was all busted up and leaking everywhere--both bottles. And there is no way it happened during shipping. Two thumbs down.

    I might call them. It wasn't a big loss money wise, so I am not too worried about recovering my $$. I was just surprised that the service was so poor. Are there any other companies that sell this type of flavoring?

    I've never had any problems with them either. I've placed about a dozen orders with them and have recieved my products quick.

    They just emailed me over two weeks later saying,

    "You should have it very shortly. I had thought that it had gone out that day, by my mistake was that the flavor was backordered. I apologize for the delay."

    No big deal, but if it was a big oder, the lack of communication would have been a real bummer.
