    Topical/Spot Fat Mobilizer doodads...

OK seriously... I've seen enough posts on here about these, and am no closer to knowing if to spend my money on this stuff or not. I'm talking about stuff like Ab-Solve, and such.

    Do they work, or not?

Some of you use them, and claim to have had results. Some of you blow them off as crap, either because you're "purists" and wouldn't bother using these, or because you've tried them with no noticeable results.

So here's my question (or series of questions):

If you used one and claim to have had results, how did you measure said results? How did you use the product? What product did you use? How long did it take before you could see results?

I'm curious, yet skeptical because it makes no sense to me. Convince me otherwise?

I used it a few months back .

    My Absolved results

    weigh/measure results

Well , measurements and bodyweight stayed the same (or close enough to it ) for another week. But dropped another .3 % BF. Slow results partly (in my opinion) because i haven't made any changes in my diet for the last 4 weeks.

Confession Time !!!!!! The reason I didn't make any changes in my diet the past 4 weeks is because I have been using Absolved for the past 4 weeks and didn't want anything else to possibly effect my fat loss while using it.

    Absolved results

    week 1 - lost .25 " off waist

    week 2 - lost .5 "

    week 3 - lost .25 "

    week 4 - lost .25 "

    went from a 32.75 " waist to 31.5"

I am sure I will be using it again in the near future .

I have a thread in the supp forum from over a year ago from where I had similar results as gwcaton and before ANYONE say ANYTHING, this was way before I ever became a moderator at Avant.

If you are in a caloric defecit, Lipoderm-Ultra zaps the fat from the area of application. I definitely recommend it. If you are eating at maintenance calories, it won't do anything.

    Thanks GW.

I've got about 5% more to lose going by my goal, but honestly, it's dropping off quickly except my ab/hip area. I know the rule is that the first place you put it on (the fat) is the last place it comes off... so it's just a matter of time, if I keep up the caloric deficit, keep building lean muscle and keep doing my cardio.

I don't know if a half percent loss in four weeks is worth it, if I can stick to my program.

Thanks, Jodi. I did read your thread, it was one of the ones that sparked my curiosity about this.

I used Ab-solved before my comp and noticed good results from it also. I'd definately use it again next time.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...

And as you should be. You should always question every supplement you think about trying and all we can do here is tell you our positive or negative results and it's your decision from there

If you buy it from Avant they have a return policy if you don't like it etc. If you buy it from anyone else you don't get that return policy. But on the other hand, it is much cheaper if you buy it retail.

All I have to say is damn woman, you have made some serious strides in the past two months, both in terms of fatloss, and muscle gain.

You have excellent shape, and nice muscle tone. Your quads are particularly unbelievable. You certainly have a genetic gift.

Oh, and as to the topic at hand, should you choose to try one of Avant's products, the Lipoderms would be better suited toward your bodytype, from what I can tell.

Best of luck in achieving your goals.

Wow, you think so? It makes me happy to "hear" that. Looking at myself every day, I feel like it's not that big a change, so I go into little slumps where I feel like a fat slob, even though clearly, things are happening. Thanks TP.

As for trying a product... I'm thinking I will. Gotta get paid first (tomorrow! YAY!).
