    Debate about creatine and cutting

This is driving me nuts, Im on a cut right now and everything is going well, my goal is to reach 7-8 % and all is good right now, curently im 11% and going down, But what is killing me is that debate weather or not i shoould take creatine (10 mg) a day or not, since you should gain like 6+ pounds of water weight from it is it gona help me on a vut or not?? I have nice defenition right now but i wanna perfect it so if creatine gona screw me over by making me look softer.... so i guess my final thing is, should i or shouldnt i take creatine while cutting for perfection

The creatine water retention will take place within the muscles, not under the skin. I seriously doudt your hard-earned definition will be lost by taking creatine.

right, it's mostly intra-muscular water retention, not subcutaneous, although some people do tend to get a little puffy from creatine, however unless you're competing it should not be much of a concern.

You must seperate "water retention" from fat loss. You can be 3% bodyfat while still holding plenty of water, which can often be flushed within a few days. Creatine will in no way affect your ability to lose bodyfat, and will more likely help you retain lean muscle while doing so.
