Fat burners and thyroid/metabolism
Ive seen commercials and stories of people who have taken things like twim spa, hydroxycut, xenadrine etc for a period of months. My question is that wouldn't you be hurting your thyroid/ metabolism by taking them for that long. I would think after you got off them, your body would be running slow b/c it has become accostomed to the supplements. Also, if that is true, would you be able to keep your body from depending on the supplements by taking them 5 days on, two days off, for a period of months?( thinking those two days off each week would give your body a chance to normalize again and not get accostomed to the supplements) Thank you.

No need for 5 days on, two off, IMO. You would get some tolerance to the stimulants, but it shouldn't hurt your thyroid or leave you with a lower basal metabolic rate.

I think if you have a pre-existing condition it will prolly effect it. If you do not, I think you are safe, but you may have a hidden thyroid issue and know nothing about it.

If sense were common, everyone would have it.
