Scorch (new fat burner) by MAN

How does this look as a fat burner? I'll post the ingredients (since that's what really matters) before the stuff they write up to convince us to buy it

It actually looks promising to me - but there are people here who would no better than I would

BSL also has some fat burner called Fire. It seems interesting, but really pricey.

I like seeing Rhodiola in there, especially in a clinically effective dosage, but other than that it is not all that remarkable to me. I am not familiar with some of the things in there, though.

Most of that stuff is the same stuff in a different bottle. All these companies are trying to reinvent the pinto. Doesnt work.

ECA wins every time (at least so far).

Really? Would any of you care to explain?

    I'm not asking, I'm instigating

Clen in the short term is splendid - but there's certainly more to fat loss than beta-2 agonism. ECA is hardly the end-all and be-all of anorectic and partioning agents.

If the price is reasonable, it's certainly worth a shot. Nothing extraordinary, and I wouldn't expect anything remarkable with it, but it's solid (in theory - save the 7-KetoDHEA and caffeine/catechins). Rhodiola, although it may or may not exert a significant influence on fat loss directly, is definitely nice to moderate perceived stress, mental/physical fatigue, and hunger when you're dieting.

    EDIT:

Checked out the price on 1Fast: $33.99 for 168 capsules is great. Something doesn't have to be novel, in order to provide a nice selection of ingredients at reasonable doses. That's one of the major problems with most of the ephedra replacements, even going beyond scientific support and valid theoretical backing, most products provide token amounts only; if the formula is solid, they charge a ridiculous price - if the price is ridiculous, they don't provide anything in substance or amount to justify the cost.

I think the formula is nice, but I can buy most of the ingredients separately at a fraction of the cost. The one I am most interested in, Rhodiola, can be purchased at bulk/1fast for $22 and you get like 100 days worth, plus you can get the same amount of green tea and caffeine for like $5 a piece. So you can essentially purchase the most effective ingredients, I have seen no evidence coleus is effective, for the same price and get 100 days worth.

I agree. But convenience is a commodity and most people don't want to sit down and cap five different raw powders, or measure and scoop out the appropriate amounts of each into a cup (as I do). All things considered, the price is right for the typical consumer; the premium on convenience isn't set too high.

Yes, regarding forskolin. I definitely wouldn't rely on it as a stand-alone supplement for positive partioning; theoretically, it may be useful in addition to caffeine and the like. Subjectively speaking, it is useful for mental "balance" as well as blood pressure, and that helps when you're dieting and using stimulants. Forskolin is an excellent anxiolytic, if nothing else, orally.

BTW: Dale, I should have been clear - I was challenging the other statements ('not as good,' 'reinventing the pinto,' ignoring several factors in between).

I know you weren't aiming your poison at me.

I have said it many times, the Adaptogens, particularly Rhodiola, are going to turn out to be very effective for alot of people, especially people with stress/mood disorders.

    how does stacking w/synephrine sound?

(bulk has a nice sale on scorch/syneburn combo this week) typically i don't start stacking/adding on 'til i decide how i like the product but b/c of the sale i may buy both at once if it seems likely that the stack will be an especially good one. (it's $5 less to buy both together this week)

just go w/the Scorch alone or grab the synephrine as well?

    thanks

The combination could result in a more potent anorectic effect, possibly an increased thermogenic response - nothing extraordinary - and potentially greater side effects (blood pressure, anxiety).

So, it could be a nice addition. If it's on sale, it's not as though you have to start off by taking the two. Try Scorch first, add the synephrine, if you wish, later.
