yes i do realize this i was gonna talk to my doctor about getting a prescription for it and i also know a site where i can get it without a prescription... the reason i ask is about 1yr ago my ankle was broke in a work injury and i had pins put in it but i was not able to do alot of things like walking and treadmill due to restrictions surgery did not work and this august i had another surgery for the same foot they put 6 screws in it but since my restrictions were so strict i've gained about 75 pounds and i just wondered if this would help me loose some wieght while not being able to do alot of stuff....allso the 75 pounds is through out the year

If you gained 75 lbs. in one year, it was because of your diet, not your lack of exercise. Xenical is for people who are unwilling or unable to quit eating a poor diet. Get your diet in check. Even cytomel and other drugs help you lose some weight, you will gain it all back and then some when you get off. Plus Xenical makes you shit out a bunch of orange greasy fat. This is not a pleasant experience. Your large intestine doesn't like having fat in it. The key is your diet, not drugs.

I agree with Pirate, and seeing that xenical just blocks the breakdown of fat in your intestines you would have to stay on it for life because if you never changed your diet, you would just start gaining weight again after you stopped taking it. Thats one expensive habbit my friend. Diet is the key, and since you can't run you should try swimming and other water aerobics.
