    ECA killing my workout

I have my routine down, have my diet down pretty good, things are going great, but need to speed up shedding a few pounds. I have been on ECA about two weeks, and have lost some weight, but my workouts are killing me. I feel weak, unmotivated and pretty much don't give a damn. All of this since I started the ECA stack. Anyone else have this problem while on ECA? I'm at the point when I am about ready to give up on the stack.

    Thoughts? Opinions?

Don't give up. ECA slowly becomes more effective after a few weeks. Try eating a small carb snack 30 min. prior to exercise.

when are you taking the ECA stack and when do you work out ?
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

I think I know what LAM is alluding to. For many people, EC can result in a period of energy followed by a low. For a few it is a rollercoaster and those people can't tolerate EC. I have taken EC for years and tolerate it well but I clearly have a high energy state for two or three hours aftering taking it. My "low" however isn't that pronounced. So, it works well for me.

You should take one of your doses right before you work out. For almost everyone this results in a very energetic workout.

Unless I take my ECA right before I train then I will struggle big time! just lack the energy

despite this even when I have my last ECA dose mid-afternoon I can't sleep for shit when on the stack!

Isnt it the opposite??? Dont ephi. and caff. loose(or reduce) their effects if used consistently over a longer period??

What I have learned in both studying and using such a stack is that after 2 weeks, u should go off for at least one then restart, to reep max benefits...And also to take care of your heart!!

Than again I have been wrong in the past...Just dont tell my wife I said that!!

They don't necessarily lose their effectiveness. It's just that you get used to the energy boost, so you won't feel the energy and thus think they are not working. Plus the lower your BF% gets the harder it will be to lose weight at the rate you have been in the past, but ive taken ECA stacks for up to 12 weeks before. IMO you need to stay on for at least 6 weeks b/c you won't see a sufficient drop in BF% in just 2 weeks.

"In summary, the advantages of using a non-selective beta agonist such as ephedrine are, it has beneficial effects on thyroxin deiodinase activity thereby increasing the T3/T4 ratio, it’s effect on beta-3 receptors, and it’s tendency not to cause extreme desensitization of beta-2 receptors. All of this lends to the fact that the thermogenic affects of ephedrine are enhanced after chronic treatment".

The funny thing about that summary is that you have to be some type of scientist or supplement freak to understand what the hell it says. The article is very informative, though. Complements of LAM.

Sorry for the late response, LAM. I take it first thing in the morning, right before lunch, and then mid-afternoon. I normally workout late-afternoon/early evening. I think the carb snack Pirate mentioned might help because I workout before dinner.

Thanks for all of the other responses.
