ON 100% Whey vs. allthewhey Isolate

I'm always hearing how good the allthewhey concentrate tastes, and I know how good Optimum Nutrition's 100% whey (chocolate) tastes

. I'm thinking about getting ten pounds of Isolate from allthewhey.com, but I need to know if it tastes as good as ON 100% whey. Any insight is much appreciated.

I think it tastes fine, but after a while you get used to downing whatever it is, because lets face it, ive never gotten thirsty and thought "Man, a nice protein shake would really hit the spot right now"

completely agree with gococksDJs (<--- not sweatin that nickname).... but yeah the ON does taste pretty good in comparison... but does anyone really actually "drink" it... i just kinda mix, shake, and down it... sometimes i might come up for air, but generally its a shotgun.

It's a toss up. I really like the ON mint choc. flavor. I've liked every Allthewhey flavor i've had. The only one I haven't had yet was banana

Anything artificially banana flavored should be called Primate Ass Sweat. Damn banana tastes bad. You could get some banana whey and mix it with the liquor 99 bananas for a double dose of ass.

I just bought some ON 100% whey all natural ... I wonder if tastes the same as the regular ON 100% whey.

There's a whey product at Bulk Nutrition that's mint chocolate flavored. I've heard many good things about it and I'm going to buy some. I'll let you know how it tastes.

I think I'll just stick with ON then. It isn't pure isolate, but it's cheaper and damn tasty, IMO. I'll try the mint choco next. I've had 10 lbs of vanilla and about 30 lbs. of the choco. I never get tired of the choco, just was thinkin' about upgrading to pure isolate. Thanks for the input. Oh, even though I chug my shakes I would rather it taste good. Imagine if it taste like Nolva!

I made this same mistake a year ago. It tasted the same, no big deal. I really didn't understand the difference between the two.

The difference is that the 100% natural whey is whey concentrate, whereas the 100% whey has a good portion of whey isolate, some whey concentrate, and a little hydrolyzed whey. If you don't know what this means then you are fine sticking with the concentrate.

The main thing that made me buy this is the fact that it is sweetened with fructose ... Anyways , I just bought 2 5pounders ... They will be done in about a month at this rate (god damn bulking isnt cheap).

I think in this case you can't compare with those powders, because the 100% whey is whey concentrate and from allthewhey it's whey isolate.
so you pay more money for quality, about the taste : i didn't try this whey but i think in this case that on 100% whey will be better because it's contains carbs and fat.
i have nature's best zero carb isopure and on 100% whey better in the taste but not in quality.
if you want taste so go on 100% whey
if you want quality and have more money to pay go to allthewhey
