No. I thought about it, but I knew I couldn't get enough to last anytime so I decided not too. Just save my money for real stuff.

I tried to get in on this one , but my computer is so virus stricken I couldn't log on. Oh well, if he pulls out another run I will try to get in on it from my work computer. Plus I will have the benefit of seeing how it affects others.

Yeah, I read that, but my entire comp is fucked up and if anything takes a while to load it just goes to some adware page. I had it fixed a while back, but I cannot remember how to get to the system registry to fix it.

I don't want to turn this Tech Talk, but if you have some adware problem, try SpyBot. It's highly rated in PC Magazine and free:

I have had ad aware for a while. I tried spybot but it came WITH spyware attached to it so I deleted it.

Also, if Sledge gets more, he will hopefully sell it for more.

I say hopefully because he should (plain economics, supply and demand set price) and I enjoy seeing companies like his (cutting edge companies who come out with great products) have the funds to do what they do best.

Plus he has a lot of great ideas I would like to see come to fruition.

Spybot doesn't come with any spyware or adware. Where did you get your copy? Are you sure you got Spybot? A lot of companies name their spyware removal tool to have a similar name to spybot.

Use both Spybot and Ad Aware. Neither one gets all the spyware/adware, you need both. I do this for a living so I should know.

Also, to prevent getting spyware/adware, get Kerio personal firewall (it also stops suspicious programs) and Firefox (an alternative Internet browser to Microsoft Internet Explorer. Plus you can block ads with it).

I got SPybot search and destroy from download.com and that is what gave me the virus/adware.

Back to the topic at hand, I hope his ass doesn't sell it for more, but I suppose if there is good feedback from other users it would be worth the wait and resulting extra money.

Highly unlikely! I use download.com a bunch. If you aren't running a firewall you can get one easy! And I got SE from there along with spybot.

True. Spybot Search and Destroy will not give you any adware or spyware. You really need both Spybot and Ad Aware, plus a good firewall/sandbagger (Kerio).

I think it is alot easier to use a different browser like Mozilla firefox, and make sure you keep your OS updated, whatever it may be.
