Creatine increases the absorbtion of water into your muscles so more than likely you will gain some water weightOriginally Posted by reg56
Other than water weight there is no reason why creatine would cause you to gain an excessive amount of weight
I'm currently using Whey Protein, but when that stuff is all gone, I was thinking about trying creatine monohydrate to help build muscle. I workout 6 days a week for about 1 and a 1/2 to 2 hours per day. My question is, if I use creatine, will I experience extreme weight gain? This is something I do not want. I'm almost 17, I'm 5'9" and i weigh 203 lbs. ( lineman) I would like to keep my weight under 215, but also increase muscle mass, become stronger, and burn fat for next season. Will proper nutrition, training, and the use of creatine help me attain my goals, or will it make me gain an excessive amount of weight?

1) Buy some more whey protein ... You need that in your diet if you want to build mass muscle , with or without creatine
2) You wont have much massive mass gains , youll seem some strenght increasements with creatine and some small weights gains ... But remember , its not a roid , you wont gain 15+ pounds with that in a month.
3) if you want to maximise your gains with creatine , I recommand drinking lots and lots of water.
When a goal is reached comes satisfaction . You're accomplished as a person when you surpass those goals .
You're not going to get huge from creatine. You'll gain roughly 5-10 pounds water but it will disappear once you cease use and you can keep all the additional LBM
