I couldn't see how M1T would be of any benefit to a competitve athlete. you would need to take something that would increase your RBC count...

even if it did help I think the side effects would weight out any benefits, such as the muscle cramping that most people get from M1T, especially in the lower back.

Why does M1T cause muscle cramping?

not sure, could be due to minerals out of whack (magnesium & potassium), just as with any muscle cramping there are only theories as to why we get them.
No, it would be a big mistake.Originally Posted by musclepump

Indeed, I have no clinical studies to site or scientific evidence to refer to but I can say from experience that during my recent cycle of M1T (was my first on this substance btw) I experienced cramping like never before. Especially in my calves and ONLY when I ran. I normally could run 6 miles before I get my "runner's high" and then I'm good for about 4 more before I start to feel seriously fatigued. On M1T I'd get cramps that were so unbearable I could barely run past 3 miles and my run time went straight to shit.Originally Posted by Robert DiMaggio
I did make some decent strength/size gains during that cycle but MAN did the cramps hurt when I ran.
NOTE: I'm running a cycle of Methyl D now (had 3 bottles given to me so I'm giving them a try) and I am not experiencing any cramps at all. My Run time is back to normal and my distance is back where it needs to be.

I get very bad cramps in my lower back from M1T.
Cramping, high blood pressure, light headedness, low blood sugar levels, decreased endurance, and other similar sides...the causes of most of these are likely related. Imagine a back spasm during a race. I believe that there are issues with the delivery of oxygen to the cells caused by M1T. This seems to be tied in with the electrolyte imbalance and leads to cramps and very intense pumps. Pumps sound good, but interfere with swimming and most performance related sports. Just my opinion.Originally Posted by musclepump
LAM, do you know of anything that does? i know that ALCAR (and choline) has a negligable effect on oxygen binding to rbc's, but just negligable. got a 3x olympic bobsled guy here at my gym that says it works... i'd be willing to do other things within reason to achieve an elevated EPO effect... it would benefit my hockey and perhaps musclepump's swimming.Originally Posted by LAM

boldenone (Equipoise) is great for increasing the RBC count...

Train at high altitudes for a few weeks if possible.

I have an altitude tent. It's great fun: www.altitudetraining.com
