Eating more than you can digest

I have often heard that you cannot digest more than 50 grams of protein at a time. Is this the same for fat and carbohydrates? If so, does that mean if you eat alot, you can't even digest a good portion of it? So, you could eat 1500 calories, but only digest 1100?

ohg, dont talk about that, lol. I have extreme gas problems, lol, im on a bulk and gaining nice mass (clean bulk) but im kinda bloated (300g+ [protein a day) anyway, its true you can not digest it in time and your body does not need more than that amount at a time, but every three hours or so will be fine just not at one time.....get it ?
