It is just like eating grapefruit or having grapefruit juice with any medication. It will increase the uptake of the med into the body by binding to the enzymes that normally deactivate much of the medication. In theory, the supplement should work, but I don't know of anyone that has used it and made a comparison to using vs not using it in conjunction with a particular drug or PH.

I had a brief look and it appears the key ingredient is Bergamottin, which is found in grapefruit juice and citrus oils. There's an article on Sledge's site that suggests taking graprefruit juice may increase the blood levels of some drugs.

That's my theory anyway. Personally I would save my money and spend it on whey, creatine and other trusted supplements.

i agree... i didn't have intentions of buying it. i was just curious.
wish there were some true lab studies/ results to look at though...
even if they were with grapefruit or the just the Bergamottin itself.
i have read the grapefruit things before b/c it messed with my immuno-suppressant meds during the transplant years ago.
    thanks again guys.

yup. saw the drug i was talking about on there... tacrolimus. aka FK-506.

I used it with the IDS 1-AD and the IDS M1T. I doubt it makes a difference with M1T, but it may have with the 1-ad. Seemed on par or better than the Ergopharm 1-ad I had used before. That M1T kicked my fuggin' arse, though.
