What's a good non-stimulant appetite suppresor?

Hoodia. Now brands is what I use.

LeptiGen is also a terrific appetite suppresant but not cost effective if that is all you are looking for.

While still considered a stimulant, i find nicotine gum priceless for appetite supression, and doesn't give the same type of stimulation that E or C gives me.

Although cost/benefit, i've recently heard that nicotine costs something similar to the price of a small European country, so i'm not sure if it's such a good idea.

I find nicotine lozenges and synephrine to be both fairly effective

While definately a concern, i can honestly say i have never felt any negative effects associated with addicition, nor have i read of any issues of people utilising nicotine gum either.

That's not to say it'll be fine to go out and use it, so if you do opt to use it, be aware and look for tell tale signs.

There seems to be a big difference between smoking and nicotine, and chewing it. The usual other psychological effects are not apparent - something to hold, something to do, something to stop you fidgeting, something to calm the nerves etc... Although it does seem to have a veyr positive effect on mood for me.

There's a complete article of information on nicotine on Avant written by Novick here: http://www.avantlabs.com/magmain.php...=13&pageID=130

It's complicated in places, but all round an excellent read.

You know yourself better than anyone, so judging by your post, using nicotine gum is not for you. As someone noted above, synephrine is also a good appetite suppressant.

TP, on a side note, how does NOW treat you? I know it is a good company, but I also heard that their hoodia isn't great, at least from reading your forum

I will be buying a few containers from 1fast400 in my next order.

Synephrine and nicotine helps as well.

I use nicotine gum as well. I have never smoked so I don't know about craving cigarettes. But, I can say I never have a craving for nicorette gum. It helps with dampening appetite and it also gives me a little buzz. I chew some while I work out. Also, carb cravings for me tend to flare up at night. Nicorette is good for alleviating this. I probably chew three 4 mg gums a day.

A little word of advice (though the product info states this): do not eat for about 15-30 minutes after chewing it. It can give stomach upset if you eat too soon.

The coated gum variety is MUCH better than the traditional nicorette. It is much more like gum.

I like it. I haven't used Mike's yet. And the extra EGCG in the NOW is always a plus.
